Natures Harmony Bio Industries Sdn Bhd (NHBI) was formed in 2014 (Reg. No 1084890-U), our first company was known as Natures Harmony Industries Sdn Bhd (Reg. No 643013-M) which started operations in 2004 from its factory in No.6, Nilai 7, Jalan 7/5 Nilai Industrial Park, Negeri Sembilan Malaysia. Our Patented technology involves formulation and process to produce Powdered form material from Cassava using compression system which was commercialised in India in the year 2019. Our business also involves the supply of materials and equipment to those manufacturers of Bio- Degradable products until today.

In year 2021 through a joint venture between Meyyanathan Retnasamy and Prof. Dr. Baskaran Anandhan successfully managed to  covert the powdered material to Resin material which is Injection Grade. This resins can be used by manufacturers to produce Bio-degradable products using Injection system or Extrusion system. Some of the products that can be produced are for packaging  food & fruits, cups, saucers, bags, film products and many more applications with different resin formulations.

Today due to Global warming and Environmental degradation due to pollutions and the  increasing waste generated, the regulators, government, environmentalists are increasingly demanding for businesses to take heed and act responsibly. According to the United Nations Envrionmental Programme (UNEP), between 22 and 43 percent of plastic consumed globally find its way into landfills. Consumers and NGOs all over the world are also well aware of the need to be responsible and are pushing for products which are environmental friendly, safe and constantly demanding for use of products made from organic materials as opposed to plastics. Therefore the use of Bio-resins could help bring down the longest lasting negative impacts of our plastics use.

This is why we embarked on the task to convert the powdered cassava formulation to Resins. This Bio-Resins which are made from Cassava tuber (Tapioca) and supplied by our company Natures Harmony Bio Industries Sdn Bhd are used to manufacture bio-degradable products. This products will compost naturally once disposed in any soil and conditions, within 28 - 60 days. It is therefore our role to also contribute to saving the earth and indirectly reducing the need for landfills and providing opportunities for the society and businesses to play a role in this supply chain and circular economy agenda.
